User consent to privacy protection

Regarding the submission of the contest, we hereby notify the collection and use of personal information of the participants as below pursuant to Personal Information Protection Act. Please kindly give consent.

Collected personal information is only used for identification and verification of participating individuals, answers to the questions, individual notice delivery, management of participants, such as screening, awards and prizes, and information regarding the future contest. It will not be used for any other purpose other than the upper mentioned collection and use purpose.

- Required item : name, contact (mobile phone), email, nationality, affiliation (school), program (department)
- Optional item : DOB, home address, sex, etc.

Necessary information is collected through the personal information entered when submitting works through the contest website.

[Personal information processing and storage period]
Upon purpose of collection and use of personal information for the contest is achieved, the collected information will be destroyed immediately. However, for the awardees, the information is stored for the copyright period for the management.
In the event that the participant is a member of SPECTORY (www.spectory.net) through separate membership registration agreement, personal information protection policy of SPECTORY service is complied.

- Storage period : within 1 year after the completion of the competition

Clauses relevant to provision to third parties

In principle, the organizer does not delegate processing of the personal information to the third party without consent of the participant. However, for the purpose of participation increase of the competition and convenience of participants, part or entirety of the work may be delegated. Receiving party of personal information : Ministry of Foreign Affairs, SPECTORY Co., Ltd.
Purpose of personal information use : Competition promotion, website management, participant reception and management of relevant information, etc.
Provided personal information : Among information agreed for collection and use, necessary ones for competition operation
Personal information storage and use period : In principle, the collected information will be destroyed immediately once purpose of collection and use of personal information for the contest is achieved. However, the information may be stored for 1 year after the completion of the competition for the management of participants, awardees, and notification of future competition.

Consent for copyright use

All submitted works shall be an original work of the participant without any copyright dispute. All legal liability regarding copyright, portrait right, etc. of the submitted works shall belong to the participant.
Contents, images, etc. used for the submitted works shall be either ones with expired creative rights, copyright, or resolved by the participants. In the event of relevant dispute, all liability shall belong to the participant.
Works that have been previously awarded in other competition, plagiarized, edited or synthesized works, works created by a surrogate, or works that do not meet the standards of the competition shall be excluded from the evaluation. Even after the award, the award may be canceled or the prize may be reimbursed.
Copyright of the winning work belongs to the awardee. However, the awardee shall agree to the use of the winning work (reprocess if necessary) by the organizer for the purpose of presentation, exhibition, production of winning work collection, publicity, campaign, etc.
